Walleye fishing has picked up with many good catches and limits being taken off Kelleys Island and east as far as Huron. The shoals are producing as well as the dump site off Cedar Point. Open waters 40 to 43 feet have been productive with fish being caught on a 15 to 20 count drifting with weapons tipped with half of a night crawler.
Good fishing is expected to continue as long as Mother Nature cooperates.
