The Skeena River is extremely high and unfishable. The kalum River is high but crystal clear, and is producing chinooks plus some steelhead. The Kitimat River is fishable and is producing the odd Chinook and a few steelhead. The Lakelse River is high but id producing steelhead, cutthroat trout, dollies and chinook are being caught at the mouth of the river. The Ischkenich river is has good steelhead fishing but water conditions are affected by rain. If you prefer saltwatwer fishing. Then head for Prince Rupert there are a few chinook being caught at Squaderie (north west end of Stephens Island.) Or just stay in the harbour and fish Tuck Inlet or Tugwell.
