18/2/08 all quiet on all fishing fronts. Wind SE light to fresh and very cold even though we had the sun blazing down all day and just for the record there were three boats out on the great Lough Currane. 19/2/08 Everything the same as yesterday except there was plenty of cloud cover and the wind was more in the south but my Noble gentlemen wouldn't communicate with we the angler, or our Flies and lures have a lot to be desired. 20/2/08 very quiet on the fishing front but I see WWW.Loughcurrane.com they are our reporting a change in the weather for the week end and if this correct it should activate my Noble Gentlemen be he Salmon or Angler, plus it would be nice to see a few more Anglers out there manipulating the fly and the lure. Wind WNW light to fresh with the odd light shower, mainly overcast with the odd bit of sun breaking through. Amount of rain fall 0.3mm. 21/2/08 There was a good SW wind blowing and overcast with the odd bit of light rain which made for a better fishing day but my Noble rascal thought otherwise. 22/2/08 Again my noble gentlemen weren't in a taking mood or maybe its we anglers can't fish. Wind NW light to fresh and cloudy with good sunshine breaking through. 23/2/08. All quiet on the SW front. Wind SW fresh to strong and overcast. 24/2/08 It was a good fishing day in the eye of the fisherman but the old Salmon thought differently and with the forecasters forecasting heavy rain I was surprised today that a Salmon wasn't caught. Wind NW light to fresh with plenty of sun and quite cold. Amount of rain fall 1.4mm. That is all the news from your gillie/Guide and the Waterville Fishery. No Spin No Fly's just Facts.
