Stillhouse Hollow Lake
Water is stained and the lake level is holding just over normal pool. Temperatures range from 89 to 91 degrees across most of the lake. Fishing has improved a little over the past week with the better fish still being taken in the 25 to 35 foot ranges. Texas Rigged Worms and 6" lizards seem to be the better producers. Evening time fish are starting to be taken on crankbaits in natural colors along the shore line. Fish are schooling and top water action is good early in the mornings. Weightless flukes or poppers are working extremely well. The best times to fishing still remains in the early mornings and later in the evenings.
