What's Hot Offshore - September 23, 2017 The dolphin bite is off-the-chain in Ft Lauderdale. Dolphin are stacked up in 15-350ft of water, just outside the reef. What's Hot Inshore - April 9, 2017 Tarpon are FINALLY starting to bite. It's been a slow off season for tarpon but this past 2 weeks, we're getting into the tarpon on our inshore trips. What's Hot Offshore - April 9, 2017 Dolphin are starting to bite good in only 100 ft of water. We're catching them trolling and live baiting right over the reef. What's Hot Inshore - March 3, 2017 Tarpon have been slim to none lately but snooks are biting good. We're catching the snooks fishing around the bridges mostly and some around the docks. What's Hot Offshore - March 3, 2017 Strong East winds this weekend are getting the dolphin riled up. Fish dolphin in 100-400ft of water this week. Dolphin are mainly 20+ pounders. What's Hot Inshore - February 8, 2017 Tarpon are beginning to start biting. They always slack off in the winter months but get going again in the Spring. They're just starting to show up now. What's Hot Offshore - February 8, 2017 The wahoo bite has been fantastic this month. We're catching them trolling in 150-250ft of water on the deep baits (planer and wire line). What's Hot Offshore - November 21, 2016 Strange and unusual catches this month with the supermoon and strong tides. Sailfish are biting strong in 120-180ft of water (kite fishing or trolling). We're catching them on live pilchards and goggle eyes or on dead bait kingfish heads. Jacks and cudas are also biting the same method. Snook are biting too, mostly at night. What's Hot Offshore - August 11, 2016 Dolphin are biting 8-10 miles offshore, very hard to find so plan on investing a lot of time trying to find them. Daytime Swordfish bite has also been good, 15 miles offshore on the 50/50 line. On the reef, bonitos, kingfish and blackfin tuna are biting solid. They are biting around the bridges and up&down the intracoastal waterway. Live bait works best but if you can chum them up, chunk bait works too. What's Hot Inshore - August 28, 2014 Tarpon and Snook are biting good in the Intracoastal waterway. Our inshore charters are averaging 1-2 snooks, 1-2 tarpon and some other action on barracuda and jacks. Live baiting pilchards is working the best. What's Hot Offshore - August 28, 2014 Bonitos and Kingfish are solid on the reefs this month. Mixed in with them is the occasional blackfin tuna or wahoo. What's Hot Offshore - March 14, 2014 The mahi-mahi are running in Fort Lauderdale. The strong east winds in March bring the mahi-mahi right in on the reef to spawn. What's Hot Offshore - January 5, 2014 Sailfish, dolphin, wahoo and tuna! That's what's biting best off the coast of Ft Lauderdale. Everything is in about 300ft of water, just outside the reef and on the edge of the Gulfstream. Kite fishing is working well as is slow trolling live baits and high speed trolling for wahoo. What's Hot Offshore - October 14, 2013 Wahoo are starting to bite up and down the coast. Best bet is trolling at faster speeds in 300+ft of water. October is the month for big wahoos. What's Hot Offshore - June 13, 2013 Great action on the inside edge of the Gulfstream about 2 miles offshore Ft Lauderdale. Nice color change there and dolphin are beginning to stack up along that edge. Trolling is best to cover ground, but live baiting down the edge gets a better bite. What's Hot Offshore - March 30, 2013 Crazy Bluefish bite going on in Fort Lauderdale RIGHT NOW and it doesn't last for more than a couple days. The Catch MY Drift caught over 100 bluefish on their AM trip today. They are concentrated in 100ft of water, but are also offshore. Action trolling has slowed down for us, so we're making up for it by catching lots of almaco and amber jacks around the 200-300ft local shipwrecks.
