Crappie bite on Lake Fork in now in the winter pattern. Last two trips were on flats in 42-44 ft of water. This is where they will stay for about a two months until its starts to warm up. Used minnows and fished almost on the botton to catch them. Size was very good in the 1 1/2 lb or better range. For crappie or bass bookings see www.lakeforktrophybass.com or email me at doug@lakeforktrophybass.com

Summer and fall is a great time to catch crappie and for those too young to catch bass, catching a crappie is something all kids will enjoy. Just bring your filet knife and ice chest and take home a mess of great eating fish. I put out my own brush piles to fish around not just sit under the bridges where everyone else goes!!! I work hard to insure you have a great experience using Lake Fork guides on your fishing trip. I promise, you will not spend time on the community fishing holes, but fish my prime spots, including brush piles, which I personally put out for my clients. I want you to have such a great time, you will consider using my guide service each year, not just as a one time event. Making good friends is what it is all about!!
