Offshore Report
You might get tired of hearing this but this is a great time to "go catching offshore!" The bottom line is, is it doesn't matter if you want to fish close at the artificial reefs or the Savannah Snapper Banks. All areas offshore are "open to fish!" This means they normally migrate to these areas at this time of the year.
Here's the short version of possible catches at the
Artificial reefs: Black sea bass, flounder, trophy red fish, black drum sheepshead, triggerfish, and an array of others.
Savannah Snapper Banks: The bottom fishing is great at this time of the year. The large boys such as red snapper grouper, amberjack, as well as other large species are lurking about in this depth water. Since there isn't much bait around these fish are hungry. So therefore it's time to go now!
