We just finished the Barta Boys and Girls Billfish tournament and for the third year in a row, the weather just stunk. Southwest at 15-20 knots and gusty made Friday tough. We caught a blackfin and had a couple of wahoo bites and the small Mahi's attacked us, but we were fishing for billfish with circle hooks, and did not have a bite from a sailfish. On Saturday, Dr. Mark and his daughter Emma joined us for some Spanish fishing around the inlet instead of making the run offshore again. We caught some Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, the neat thing to see was the other 15 big boats doing the same thing for the kids on their boats. The good news was the number of wahoo bites everyone had fishing this weekend. Looks like they are showing up early, and the Mahi are still biting
