On the South West Miramichi River the past week we have seen a very good change in water conditions. With the water temperature at 57F and the river is very clear. The winds are out of the SW today and the barometric pressure is dropping.

For G.R.Colford & Sons Limited on the Main South West Miramichi River on the Eastern shore of NB, Canada. The barometric pressure was still dropping this evening, with over cast sky's on the Miramichi River. The temperature was a whopping 25 C on the river. And the water temperature was 54 F and very clear conditions. It is also getting down to a good level.

River Report for G.R.Colford & Sons Limited on the Main South West Miramichi River. Most of us are getting very anxious to see the ice start breaking up. But for the moment on the Miramichi we are hit with yet another late winter storm. With already about 5 feet in most places here on the Miramichi, we are waiting for the first signs of spring with some warm weather or rain to start and get our rivers rising and get the ice moving.
