[Gulf of Papagayo,CP] Hi everybody, July was a great time for offshore fishing too. A lot of dorado, wahoo, sail and as ever rooster inshore fishing.

Bat islands Costa Rica Fishing - June 2009 (7/03/2009)
[Gulf of Papagayo,CP] June ends with a good score of sails and some marlins released, also a lot of dorado and yellowfin tuna caught here in the gulf of Papagayo in Guaancaste Costa Rica. I think fishing will continue like this and we are going to have good fishing on July since there are a large number of small dorado schools everywhere here in the Golfo de Papagayo and specially at Bat islands, so we know billfish are somewhere around here looking for food.

[Gulf of Papagayo,CP] We had bad weather on first week of February, very strong and cold wind affected the gulf of Papagayo and Tamarindo regions. After that water got cold and few fishing was possible until beginning second week when dolphin, tuna, rooster and marlin started to bait again.
