Cod fishing 4/13

Tom and his buddies from Pennslyvania found the Northern end of Stellwagen Bank teaming with life. Diving Gannets, massive schools of herring and sand eels, and whales breaching greeted us as we arrived. Very steady fishing on six to fourteen pound cod with quite a few double headers mixed in. Once again fourteen ounce jigs with either squid or grub teasers were the ticket. Haddock up to ten pounds in the deep water off the Northern tip topped the day.
