Dolphin are making a good showing on the strong easterly wind days, and even some nice Wahoo being caught. We did some wreck dropping and Mrs. Riley pulled up her first Amberjack from over 200 feet below.

If your looking to bring home some fish for the table, the Kingfish are a good possibility along with Mahi-Mahi. Also the Mutton Snappers are biting if you can trick them into taking your bait and watch out for the elusive white meat Cobia.

We encourage our customers to release the Sailfish, of course. Not only are they a beautiful creature but also their meat value is not so valuable. A quick picture or a measurement and you can still get a trophy mount of your catch.

On the Swordfish scene the nights have been far and few between during our windy winter. As I'm typing the wind has lain all the way down for the next few days and we are booked for Tuesday night. I'm looking forward to a great trip. If you can schedule a "drop everything and head offshore" that's what you have to do in order to beat the windy weather to go Sword fishing at night. We have logged plenty of trips with windy weather but lately we have been shut out altogether. This has been one of the windiest winters in years that we have had. I guess if were not going to get the cold days were going to get the windy ones.

Every day can't be perfect that's why they call it Sportfishing. So if you can handle 4 hours with a little chop come on out and have a sporty time tying into some good fish. We can catch our bait or you can save some time and buy your baits so we can fish longer for the big ones.
