Late reports

Finally got a day off! First one in almost 2 weeks! I didnt post my reports from the last two days and Capt. Shane was getting worried that I might be struggling or something! Have no fear, despite winds and dirty water, limits are still being brought in.

On Monday Mr. Ken Burwell, his son Kenny and friend Sam arrived to fish the next two days. They didn't get down until after 8am so it was a much later start than I am used to. Took off with the intentions catching Redfish as this was Kenny's first trip and he had never caught one. Well it wasn't the 10 minute limits we have seen lately, but we did get a limit and even released some. The average was really nice as we had many 7-9 pound fish with several bulls.

Yesterday morning I had them on Schedule and we began fishing as the sun peaked over the horizon. By 10 am we had a limit of trout and by 11 am we had a limit of reds. It was a really nice morning as the bite was frantic, but VERY steady. No trophy fish yet, but again, very nice quality. They were asking for summer dates before they left!

You could fish somewhere else, but why? Venice is the place to be. For a REEL SHOT at the fishing trip of a lifetime, fish with REEL SHOT GUIDE SERVICE 985-969-0810 captbrandon@bellsouth.net www.rodnreel.com/reelshot
