Sunday we had out George,Michele, and their two kids Tyler (7) Emma (3) and close friend Idalia (Cookie) DeJesus. Todays goal was simply just put fish in the boat and we did in a short time. First we set up on a nice drift and young Tyler puts a solid 20" fluke in the boat (no help) next his Mom, Michele reels in a nice thick 16"er that was released. Both kids wanted something a little more exciting so we headed out for some blues where the crew had a blast reeling in fish from 5-10 pounds on light tackle.

Tyler gave it his all trying to fight the blues the best he could, Michele was high hook but it was George who had the biggest of the day about a 12 pound blue that we released without bringing into the boat. Even Cookie got in on the action and caught her first bluefish. With all the action I'm sure they have some sore arms today, Great trip, kids were well behaved and we all shared a great time with many laughs. Young Ty is hooked!
