The fishing has been great,Ill start with the Sheepshead. We have been getting the Sheepshead on mainly shrimp tipped on a jighead, they have been monsters ranging from 3 to 5 lbs.The trick to catching the tricky bait thieves has been fishing a slow tide. The reefs are holding good numbers and should stay for another couple weeks. The other Spieces that has really started to pick up in the last couple of weeks is the snook.

They are just about in full swing for spring fishing, every day that its stays warm I see and catch more on the flats. The key to catching the snook right now is whitebait. They dont even want to look at anything else.I havent found the reds in the past couple trips but Im sure as the weather gets more consistant they with the snook should really take off.
