Fun Saturday and Sunday on the Beach by
Rory Rorison (11/18/2009)
I had the pleasure of fishing with Omar and Keith from San Diego. Both have fished with me several times before. The weather was perfect, cool, clear and little wind. They were more interested in catching Reds, Drum, and Heads than Trout. They would rather something that fights back.
Windy day Friday at the Beach by
Rory Rorison (11/01/2009)
I had the pleasure of fishing with Chris Hermann, his dad, father in law, and brother in law. The water was high and so was the wind as we left Campo’s. We headed over behind Hopedale. Tried out a little different area not far from where we have been killing them. The bite was steady, but never fast and the Trout were nice sized.
Good day on the Beach today by
Rory Rorison (10/07/2009)
We had a light SW wind and a good falling tide. We started out in Lake Borgne and got on a couple good Trout bites working along the shore with live shrimp under a cork. There were plenty throwbacks mixed in at first. With a move to another section of the shore we got on some better Trout.
Last Thursday’s report from the Beach by
Rory Rorison (10/06/2009)
We started out in Lake Borgne and on got a few Trout early, but the bite was short lived. There was no tide moving in the Lake or the Biloxi Marsh. We picked up a few fish here and there, but lots of throw backs. Got a call from Capt. Frank that he was on a good bite so we headed his way.
Fun Wednesday on the Beach by
Rory Rorison (10/05/2009)
We headed over behind Hopedale in Lake Robin. We did not find any Trout, but did find some nice Puppy Drum. We then moved on and hit several spots with little to show for. We fished a lagoon off the Twin Pipeline and got on a good bite.

Rory Rorison (10/05/2009)
Robert Perilloux brought down a group of nine fishermen for some Shell Beach fishing fun. Capt. Frank took four and the rest hopped in my boat. We fished the Biloxi Marsh with some windy conditions and plenty of water. Fishing with Campo’s live shrimp under a cork the action was non stop.

Fishing with Campo’s live shrimp under a cork the guys got on a good trout bite. The Trout were nice and fat 16”-18” fish. Once this bite faded we made a few moves and found some more Trout.

Rory Rorison (9/02/2009)
I picked Jim and his friends Clint and Bucky from Jim’s camp. Armed with Campo’s live shrimp and croakers we headed over to an island in Machias that has been holding some good Trout. The guys put a few in the boat, but never could get them going.

Lots of fun and lots of fish on the Beach by
Rory Rorison (6/01/2009)
The Trout fishing outside has been outstanding now that the winds have laid down and the Reds in the marsh have been good when the wind has been blowing. Yesterday Pablo, his son Gabriel, Paul, and Broady killed the Trout out in Breton Sound.
Late report from Monday by
Rory Rorison (5/13/2009)
We made a stop by Campo’s and they still had some cast net caught live shrimp. Good thing they did too. The Trout only wanted the shrimp.
Big fun on the Beach Wednesday by
Rory Rorison (4/20/2009)
Big fun on the Beach Wednesday. My crew for the day was Eric, Andrew, Shawn, and Richard. The winds gave us a break and we were able to hit the Sound. Our first couple of stops were a little slow with plenty of hardheads. We hopped around and got on a good bite.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Omar once again. He is from San Diego and has fished with me several times before. Gary also was onboard with us. The wind was blowing out the NE when we pulled out so we hit the marsh looking for some Reds. At our first stop the guys put 6 nice Reds in the boat.
Breezy Friday on the Beach by
Rory Rorison (4/04/2009)
We did a lot of drifting fishing with Bayou Chubs under a cork. The Trout were nice sized, but hard to come by. The water may have been a little dirty for the Trout, but the Reds and Drum did not mind it.
Windy day on the Beach today by
Rory Rorison (3/20/2009)
The wind was howling this morning as we pulled out. We headed over towards Four Horse and the guys worked hard for 18 keepers and a bunch of throwback Trout fishing with Bayou Chubs under a cork. Our next move was to look for some Reds.

We got a late start and the guys wanted Redfish. We started out right off the MRGO picking up one 28” Red and few nice Trout. We then moved into the marsh fishing some ponds with Campo’s live minnows and dead shrimp under a cork.
Lots of fish and fun on the Beach by
Rory Rorison (12/23/2008)
November and December were very busy and fishing has been outstanding. The weather was warm and there was little wind. We drifted several lagoons and lakes catching some very nice Trout. The action was not fast, but the quality Trout filled up the box.
Time to catch up a little by
Rory Rorison (11/16/2008)
Been very busy the past couple of weeks and have not been able to keep up with reports. The fishing has been great with lots of fish and happy customers. Limits or close to them everyday.

For a change of pace we went out a little further than where I have been fishing lately and headed to the edge of the Sound. We made a couple of stops and got on some nice Trout with Campo’s live shrimp under a cork.

Fun Friday on the Beach by
Rory Rorison (10/14/2008)
We hopped around to different areas using different techniques, but could not get them going. By this time the wind had laid down nicely so we made a run out to Black Bay. I was surprised to see decent looking water. Finally the corks started to go down and up to the surface would come a big mad Trout.
Good to be back on the Beach Wednesday by
Rory Rorison (10/09/2008)
We headed to a Redfish spot I like in Oak River where we l started to put some fish in the boat. It was not a fast bite, but was steady enough. The guys put a few Reds in the box and some nice Trout too fishing with Campo’s live shrimp under a cork.
