We had a morning fluke charter today with John Langione, his son Dan , and two of his friends, Jake and Shane. They had 17 shorts up to 17 7/8 ", but also managed to get some nice keepers up to 21". Dan was high hook. We had wind against tide all morning, with gusts up to 25 mph. They all had a great day and the kids went home with Lucky Carm hats . . This afternoon we had an open boat with Mark Johnson, Valerie Conner, and one of our regulars Sal Renna. Unfortunately there were no keeper fluke, but a lot of nice fish were caught. It's a shame we have to throw back so many 17 " fish. Conditions were rough, heavy winds, we were using 6 oz. sinklers to hold bottom.
