OPEN BOAT FOR SATURDAY(14TH) AND SUNDAY (15TH)
Now is the time to be fishing Venice Louisiana! The offshore action has stepped it up a notch and finally it is looking like a Venice February! Big tuna and wahoo are hitting the dock, the amberjack are taking baits so fast you don't have time to set the drag, nice grouper are being caught and we are finding a few big cobia that have shown up!
The only problem that we are having with the wahoo is keeping our lures in one piece. We have caught some monster hoo's this month.
Right now, Venice Captains are working hard to put you on good fish, we are doing anything and everything that it takes to bring nice fish back to the dock.
Congratulations to all of the Captains on the water this weekend! You guys done a hell of a job! It was an honor just seeing you in action. Capt Troy brought seven yellowfin back to the dock, Capt Peace caught wahoo this weekend that went into tripple digets, Capt Rimmer landed a yellowfin a few hundred yards from my boat that went 170+ pounds, Capt will was nice enough to let us get in on his tuna grounds where he was puttin a hurtin on some yellowfin and Capt Hunter put on a mako show for us all to watch.
