Tough conditions this past week in Hopedale. I got on the trout on the one day the wind was not blowing with some redfish mixed in. It was not a slam but more of picking them up and staying on the move. The rest of the week into the weekend has been windy and from the worst direction WEST. Thank God for redfish and drum and bucket of dead shrimp for bait. The reds and drum have been real shallow water and scattered but I have been making the day with limits or just a few shy of a limit still great to out there fishing. Hope the winds come around from the east and back down a little bringing the water back up and clean water in and the trout should back in the mood.
