The winter fishing along the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Area of the Alabama Gulf Coast is heating up. We have been chasing the Redfish on the short 4 hour trips and have had great success. We have been trolling up and down the beach within a mile or two of shore as the Redfish move offshore in the fall to spawn. During this time they gather in large schools and make for some great action with some of these big Bull Redfish reaching 40 pounds. If you want to charter boat and do some fishing while you are here in town then you need to check this out it. It is one of the most economical options for a group of people to enjoy and makes for some fun times. The kids will enjoy catching some fish and seeing all of the birds or maybe a Porpoise off in the distance, not to mention the fact that once we leave Orange Beach Marina we are putting the lines in the water to start fishing in mere minutes. This is a great way to get people interested in fishing or maybe you haven't been in a long time, or just have no desire to be on a boat for a long time, then you should definitely explore this option. We support catch and release and this great thing to teach you youngsters. However, the law will allow you to keep an oversize Redfish in Alabama state waters.
