[Orange Beach,AL] Since the snapper had little or no fishing pressure, they just hung-around Alabama's more-than 5,000 artificial reefs and got fat. Because of the increasing number of snapper, more and more of these fish began to move-in closer to shore.
[Orange Beach,AL] Orange Beach / Gulf Shores, Al. We left Orange Beach Marina 0n this deep sea fishing trip at 7 am with a new customer from Birmingham. We chose a 6 hour charter since he was entertaining some corporate customers. The weather was a bit choppy early in the trip but did subside as the day went along. We caught some big pretty Red Snapper on light tackle in 60 feet of water that were successfully released alive.

In the years past we have always went offshore to specifically target sport fishing opportunities like Yellow fin Tuna and Wahoo but with some of the offshore waters closed we went in search of new horizons. We left Orange Beach Marina at 6;30 am and started of trying to catch a little live bait for this long fishing trip.
