Another great day at Shell Beach. Today I helped Capt. Mark with a two boat trip. My three guys hopped on the boat and off we went. Our first stop was in a pond near Four Horse and it was nonstop action. There were some trout out to the middle and cast anywhere near the shore and it was and it was an instant red. It was fast and fun, but most of them were just under sized. There were enough good sized reds around to keep us sticking around. We left there to another area to look for some trout, but instead we ran into more reds filling out our limits and the guys caught a bunch more that were lucky enough to avoid the grill. Ended up with 40 trout, 20 reds, and 10 sheepshead. Fun day with a fun group.
I have some openings next week.
All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay 2400 were caught with Campo’s live shrimp on Capt. Rory's United Charters custom rods provided by CUI Products with Penn reels, spooled with Power Pro line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Just Grab it Glove.
The trout are moving into the marsh and that great fall fishing is here. This is some of the best inshore fishing of the year. Get your fall trips booked early before all the weekend and holiday dates fill up. Call now to book your trip of a lifetime. Overnight accommodations on the bayou are available.
