Tropical Storm Gordon Beach

Tropical Storm Gordon soaked South Florida today and changed everyones Labor Day Plans.  It turned into a Movie day for most, but what is the future for the Tropical storm as it heads toward the Gulf Coast.

We are hoping for a few things:

- The gulf coast doesn't see a hurricane and only a light storm.
- The mullet run is kicked off by this storm on the east coast of Florida.  We will be checking the beaches shortly.
- The red tide is cleaned up on the west coat of Florida.

This could be just what the doctor ordered.  The red tide has been a total loss for small businesses, fisherman, wildlife and fish on the west coast.  Truely aweful.

So is this Mother Natures way of cleaning it up and putting an end to it?  Lets wait and see.

As we checked the weather, we also did a quick beach cleanup.
