Back to the Beach today. Between the steady stream of storms and some needed maintenance for both me and the boat, I have been off the water for a few weeks. I brought the boat back down to Shell Beach yesterday and my buddy Paul gave me a hand, so we just had to go wet a line. In a couple hours we limited out on reds and picked up a dozen trout.
Today I had the Bill Myers Jr group out for some early fall action. They spent the night at the First Cast Lodge and walked across the street and hopped into the Blazer Bay. Armed with Campo’s live shrimp we headed over to the Hopedale side and the guys had a great time filling up the box with limits of pretty reds along with a few trout and other creatures. The reds were not stacked up at any one spot today, but we never left the same general area, just making small moves picking up a few at each stop. Fun day with some great guys.
I have several open days next week including the weekend, so now is the time to book.
Fall is here folks, and with it comes the best fishing of the year. The fish are moving to the inside, so they are close by and hungry fattening up for winter. Call or text now to book your trip of a lifetime. Overnight accommodations on the bayou are available.
All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay 2400 were caught with Campo’s live shrimp under a 4-Horsemen cork on Kast King rods with Penn reels, spooled with Kast King line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Jus Grab it Glove.
