On Thursday night the cold front came through, and the wind blew like crazy on Friday. The upper section of the dam had waves almost a meter high and so we were forced to fish the lower sections. We tried everything and in the end we only got fish on smaller crank baits (sexy shad & lavender shad) where ever there was a rocky outcrop. It was a tough day with only 8 fish all around a kilo landed for 12hrs fishing, I also got a sexy shad treble in my thumb deep down to the bone (EINA). Lucky my client was a surgeon and he helped me out.
