Beautiful day on the Beach, you could not ask for better weather. The morning started off cool and clear with very little wind along with a good rising tide. Today I had JC, Greg, and Daniel on board and after a stop by Campo's for some of their guarantied fish catching live shrimp we headed over to Middle Bayou where we did some one stop shopping. Fishing on the bottom in about 12' of water with a Carolina rig the nice Trout were coming in the boat fast. The Trout ranged from 13-20 inches with most at 14 inches or so. The Bayou Chub was also very productive as usual. Mixed in with the Trout were plenty of my favorite fish, Sheepshead. At 10:00 Trout number 100 was in the box and to the house we went. This was Daniel's first time saltwater fishing as he is a bass man from north Louisiana, but I think he could get used to our kind of fishing down here on the Beach. Total for the day was 100 Specks, 25 Sheepshead, 12 Channel Mullets, and one heck of a good time.
The fall season is in full swing and the fishing is outstanding. Come on down to Shell Beach and let me show you what you have been missing. For you next fishing adventure call United Charters 504-439-1680.
