Steven, Garret , and Steve were waiting for me when I got to the boat. I was a little late but had the well full of croakers. We headed to the rigs in the sound to see if the big trout were hungry. It was a little bouncy but worth the ride. First cast Steven nails a big 5 lb trout, first fish of the day a trophy trout. The bite was slow but when you hooked up it was a big trout all net fish today. No limits but we had the Quality trout not the numbers. A few fell to plastic but croakers on the bottom was the way to go.
