SHELL BEACH, LA. REPORT 10/31....Beautiful morning in the Biloxi Marsh as Kelly and Hal from Ms. joined me for a trout slam. While heading through the marsh twisting and turning toward our fishing area I came around a point in a lagoon and about 50 yards in front of the boat there was trout jumping out of the water. I pulled the 250 Yam down and got a good look and the action was wild as the trout were hitting schools pot belly minnoes and knocking them out of the water. The hard incoming above normal tide had flushed them out of the marsh and the specks were having a banquet. I pulled within casting distance and threw out the mud poles and Kelly and Hal grabbed their rods and commenced to start putting trout in the box. This went on until the tide swept the monnoes further away, so up went the poles and we followed after them and again we got into them and look out the trout were coming in the boat again. This continued until we limited out and the guys were ready to head for the beach so I could clean them up for their trip home. The guys had a great time and really kept busy pulling them in and are coming back in a few weeks for another round. Great fun with two really great guys. ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN THE BLAZER BAY.
FINAL COUNT....75 SPECKS.....1 REDFISH
MARSH MASTER RODS, ABU REELS, H&H TACKLE AND CAMPO'S LIVE SHRIMP REELED THEM IN AGAIN.
