Birthday fun Sunday on the Beach. Max wanted to go fishing for his birthday. His dad Alan brought him, his brother Eli, and friends Gordy, Grant, James, and Rajan. Alan's friend John jumped on to help with the kids. Capt. Mark took half the group and I the other. We fished in the Lake Machias area and the kids had a blast filling up the fish boxes on both boats with Trout, Reds, and Drum. We fished with Campo's live shrimp both under a cork and on the bottom. Lots of fun was had by all and the kids took home gallon bags of fillets for party favors. My kind of party.
The fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding and the fall fishing is on fire. The next three months will be some of the best fishing of the year. There are still some open dates so book yours soon.
