Gene Dugas

Sal, Martin, April, and Dejean were determined to fish today despite the wind and rain was rearing to go. So we headed out into the rain and made a stop at Lake Robin to let the heavy stuff go by. Got right into the reds Rat Reds were thick along the shore. We had a blast catching and releasing around 20 and putting 5 keepers in the box before moving on. Dejean caught his first red ever. I headed to the out side in search of trout at Sal and Martin's request. With all the weather it proved to be a troublesome task. Not giving in we kept at it and found a good bite at the islands with shrimp under corks. Everyone was catching for a while. I knew it would not last because the wind was picking up again a blowing up on the point we were fishing, but we put together a good box full before the heavy rain ran us off again. All in all a good day everybody caught fish on a tough day and got a wet *^%#!*%$#@ too.
