[Miami,FL] TARPON, SEA TROUT, SNAPPERS, TRIPLETAILS, DOLPHINS SOUTH FLORIDA
[Miami,FL] Every year I like to give the readers a leg up on Holiday buying gifts by sharing with them things that I myself always have on my wish list for the Holidays and why should this year be any different? So here we go!
[Miami,FL] October is just about to come to an end but South Florida's Fall Fishing Migration is still going strong. I'm not fishing this Friday morning and had a few minutes to take a stroll along a sea wall in my neighborhood.
[Miami,FL] A fellow neighbor once told me as he was loading his boat to take his family fishing in Flamingo that he never let the weather stop him from having a great time with his family. Of course he meant within reason!
[Flamingo,FL] Tarpon, Cobia's, Redfish, Sea trout, Tripletail in Flamingo, Sea Trout, Tarpon, Snappers in North Biscayne Bay, Dolphins, Big Jacks, Tunas Offshore of Miami! Sailfish, Dolphins, Jacks, Yellowtail and Mangrove Snappers in Marathon and Dolphins and Tunas Offshore of Islamorada During the Columbia Sportswear/ Sea Grass Grow Media Event!
[Miami,FL] Walk outside breath in the air and tell me this isn't the beginning of April instead of the beginning of May! I know that's what I was thinking! The fish too! Turn your clock back a month and that's the best way to explain why the fishing is the way it is today.
[Miami,FL] I expect the fishing to be pretty consistent for the next three or four months with lots of SEA TROUT, JACK CREVALLES, LADYFISH, SPANISH MACKEREL, BLUEFISH, GROUPER, BARRACUDAS, SNOOK, TARPON and some POMPANO in NORTH BISCAYNE BAY and OFFSHORE of MIAMI KINGFISH, MACKEREL, SAILFISH and DOLPHINS.
[Miami,FL] Spring action is taking place here in South Florida and the fishing should stay red hot way into June this year!
[Miami,FL] It's been a few weeks since my last fishing report, mostly due to the cold weather we have had and the Boat Show that kept me off the water for a few days. South Florida's uncanny weather has made things very difficult for the guiding business. Almost every week for over a month we have seen at least one or two very strong cold fronts hit South Florida. Looks like next week we may see a little warming trend and maybe a return of more normal weather conditions.
[Miami,FL] South Florida recently experienced a major cold spell that adversely affected the snook, small tarpon and bonefish populations. Small jack crevalles, ladyfish, mangrove snapper, catfish and a number of other species that moved to deeper warmer water along with the snook and tarpon found themselves with nowhere to run when water temperatures continued to drop causing them to go into shock and eventually die.
[Miami,FL] Great weather and terrific light tackle fishing is the hot topic this month here in South Florida.
[Miami,FL] The weather here in Miami is beautiful amd the fishing has bee great!
[Miami,FL] The recent coller weather has sparked great bay fishing for mackerel, bluefish, large jack crevalles, ladyfish, snapper, grouper, tarpon and sea trout.
[Miami,FL] Miami Fishing Forecast:This action will continue for the next six weeks when water temperatures will send the snook and tarpon to deeper water. The large jacks, ladyfish, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, pompano, snapper and groupers will pick up the action through May.
[Miami,FL] For the next two months or more South Florida Fishing will continue to get better and better. Pick a location in South Florid and you can expect great fishing.
[Miami,FL] Fishing has been very good in Flamingo and that is where I have been meeting my clients to take advanatge of all day action!
[Miami,FL] Early mornings inshore, all day offshore and Flamingo Summertime fishing!
