[Port Canaveral,FL] It's March alright! Can you say blustery conditions? Well, you have to pick your days because right now it's a constant battle with the wind.
Pompano are here! (2/14/2007)
[Port Canaveral,FL] Before the recent blustery weather conditions, anglers were finding decent numbers of good-sized pompano along beaches from Port Canaveral to Sebastian Inlet. By far the best area has been between Patrick AFB and Indialantic, however, the fish move daily and changes in weather can also cause a move.
Surf Fishing Report for East Central Florida by Fish Brevard (1/19/2007)
[Port Canaveral,FL] Unusually warm weather is being blamed for the lack of pompano along our area beaches. With the coolest weather to date this winter being back in November, and temperatures typically soaring into the mid-80s, pompano just aren't foraging in the surf like they usually would be this time of year.

[Melbourne,FL] Winter weather can't keep serious surf anglers from the beach. Pompano, whiting, black drum and black margates are here!
Fair Numbers Of Bluefish and Spanish Macks (12/15/2006)
[Sebastian,FL] Despite blowing winds and dirty water, anglers are finding fair numbers of bluefish and Spanish mackerel along beaches from Patrick AFB south to Sebastian Inlet. Most of the bluefish are hitting cut and live finger mullet while the mackerel are taking small spoons, jigs and plugs like the Gotcha lures.
