In 1982, Chuck started his guiding career in Iliamna, Alaska as an assistant river guide with \"Wild Country River Guides\". After which he continued guiding in Vermont part-time. From 1993 to 2004, Chuck guided fulltime as an Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide in the Battenkill region. At the end of the 2004 fishing season, Chuck joined forces with Upland Outfitters in Bondville, Vermont.
