Bio: Capt. George Howell is a lifelong angler and outdoor enthusiast. Born and raised on the outer banks of North Carolina, he spent his entire life fishing shallow sounds, bays, rivers, inlets, and beaches that are very similar to the waters in the Sunshine State. When he wasn't fishing, he was working to earn a degree in biology from the University of North Carolina. Nothing is more fulfilling to him than providing others with a memorable day of fishing. His fishing buddies will attest, he would rather see them hook into that monster fish than catch one himself. There are a lot of captains out there, but I will always do everything in my power to assure that the guests on my boat have the best possible day of fishing.

[Pine Island Sound,FL] Chasing redfish with the incomming tide led to a day of large hungry sheepshead instead.
[Pine Island Sound,FL] Week of tournament prefishing. this week was all about keeping up with fish before and after the cold front, and adapting to their changing habits.
