Bio: Captain Harvey Smith has a lifelong love for fishing and the ocean. He grew up in Long Beach, Long Island and has fished all over the world in search of trophy fish. For the past 30 years, Montauk has been his home port. Captain Harvey has been a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain for 25 years. He is a member of the New York Sport Fishing Federation, the Recreation Fishing Alliance, the International Game Fish Association and the Hudson Anglers, where he presided as president and where he is currently the director of their Shark Tournament. Along with his first mate "Charter Bob", Captain Harvey has won numerous fishing tournaments, both inshore and offshore. In addition to being an IGFA world record holder, he has helped others to win world records on his boat.
