Bio: River guide Les Craig began fishing in Oregon, with his father at age 6. His younger years were spent in Hood River, Oregon and fished many of the lakes, rivers, and creeks around Mt. Hood. After college he married his sweetheart Bunny. They lived on the Upper Rogue river for 10 years and fished for Steelhead and Salmon from Grants Pass to Shady Cove. Since 2001 Les & Bunny Craig have lived in Gold Beach, Oregon and have been guiding fishing trips for the King (Chinook) Salmon, Silver (Coho) Salmon, and Steelhead where the wild and scenic Rogue River meets the Pacific Ocean. [Rogue River,OR] Fishing has been good. Reports in the media give the impression that all of the salmon fishing on the coast is closed, but IT IS OPEN.
