About The Author: Captain

Company: Shallow Tails Charters

Area Reporting: Biscayne Bay - Miami

Bio: Im Capt. Raul Montoro I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and being so close to the water I spend lots of time Fishing and diving from Miami to the Florida Keys. I was lucky to have a father who showed my brother and I the ropes when it came to safety, navigation, and of course fishing.

I grew up offshore fishing and got a taste of shallow water fishing around the age of sixteen, you can say the rest his history. There is nothing like watching the sun rising off the horizon and your on your favorite flat, and suddenly you see a school of bonefish tailing forty feet from the bow. This gets my blood pumping, to me it's one of the most exciting things when you get that perfect shot at a fish, watch him eat and rip 200 yards of line in seconds. It doesn't get any better than that!

I'm a hard working Guide and I'll do whatever it takes to put you on fish. With my very laid back attitude, I make it pleasant for angler to enjoy their day on the water. So come enjoy the outdoors with me Capt. Raul Montoro and call Shallow Tails Charters to book a trip of a lifetime.
