Bio: As an avid fisherman/outdoorsman I first came to Panama in 1999 on a fishing trip to see what all the fuss was about. I had heard great stories about Marlin and Tuna at Hannibal Bank and of the amazing diversity of the fishery in the Gulf of Chiriqui. After that first trip I was obsessed with Panama and came back many times to fish eventually moving here for good 3 years later. I shipped my boat down and began guided sport fishing charters in 2003 and broke ground on our private island lodge on Isla Paridas. A couple of years later we opened Propiedad de Paradise Lodge as the perfect spot, in the heart of the Gulf of Chiriqui, for anglers to fish the Hannibal Bank and Panama's world class fishery in style!
[Panama Pacific,] The wet season is here in full swing in the Gulf of Chiriqui as front after front moved through making the seas a bit rough for a couple of days in August. Although the weather is more of a factor this time of year....the fishing is as good as ever. We only fished a handful of days but the ones that we did we were able to locate the fish, see some cool sights, and get into some good action!
[Panama Pacific,] Full report from Propiedad de Paradise Lodge, Isla Paridas, Panama for the month of July 2013. Some great Yellowfin Tuna action at Hannibal Bank and more..only miles from our private island lodge.
[Panama Pacific,] Propiedad de Paradise Lodge's clients saw some excellent Black Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna action on the TOP Cat at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa!
