Hosted the Chris Pugh and friends Charter for a Striper Liveline trip on thursday 5/27. Sailing from our transient home at Clarks Landing, we broke the inlet and went searching for bait which was scarce. It took almost 2 hours to get enough for us to fish with. With the livewell loaded, we fished two areas where the guys proceeded to go 10 for 16 on stripers. Tried to troll spoons during a lull without a touch and went back to bait fishing.

The three biggest fish which we weighed in on the certified scale at Clarks Landing went 40#, 37# & 32#. Had to break our Avet outfits to tangle with these fish.

Great bunch of guys who fished hard all day and bounced back from and 0 for 3 drift to finish the day strong.

Dom did his usual great job in the cockpit.
