He is a supporter of Save The Summer Flounder Fishery Fund, RFA, an active tagger for the american Littoral Society and active IGFA and Hi-Mar Striper Club Member. In 2008 he took first in the NJ Hunters Striper Tournament.

NETKEEPER - 11/25 Annual Turkey Day Tog and Stripers (11/26/2010)
[Sandy Hook,NJ] On our annual Turkey Day Tog trip we never had a sustained chew anywhere, scratchy bite and the guys had to work hard for them today. Ended the day with 6 ling and 17 keeper Tog releasing between two and three dozen shorts.

NETKEEPER - 11/21 Rick Acevedo Stripers & Tog (11/23/2010)
[Sandy Hook,NJ] On Sunday had Rick Acevedo and crew out on the Netkeeper for a Stripers and Tog mixed bag trip. The guys landed a dozen Stripers keeping three. Moved on to Blackfishing where they boxed 16 and released over two dozen shorts.

[Sandy Hook,NJ] Started the morning on Saturday's Open Boat trip jigging and Trolling Stripers which yielded mainly shorts and 2 keepers. Made one drop for Blackfish which yielded 8 keepers to 8# and about a dozen shorts.

NETKEEPER - Sat 11/06 Victor Monica 6 Man Striper Limit to 22# (11/09/2010)
[Sandy Hook,NJ] Had Victor Monica's Group and Hollywood Mike out today on the NetKeeper. Left to sporty conditions with the wind out of the NNE, but they were driftable. Eeled the majority of the day boxing 12 Stripers up to 22#.

[Sandy Hook,NJ] Had my good buddy Hollywood Mike out on the NetKeeper Sunday 11/7. Had to work really hard but we caught our limit of Striped Bass eeling today under very tough conditions.

[Sandy Hook,NJ] Had a feeling watching the weather reports, along with Tide and Moon that it was going to be a good night so posted a last minute Open Boat trip. John, Gene, Dan & Yasar joined me for the night and ended the night 1 fish shy of the 4 man limit.

[Sandy Hook,NJ] On Saturday 10/30, NETKEEPER Sportfishing hosted Keith and James for an Open Boat trip. By days ends we jigged, trolled and clammed our boat limit using two bonus tags to stretch it to 8 keepers, throwng back an equal number of bass.

Landed over 20 Stripers with only one keeper and a dozen blackfish keeping our 4 fish boat limit. Good day on the water with some good friends.

[Point Pleasant,NJ] On Saturday 6/5 NetKeeper Sportfishing hosted the James Deegan Charter. Released one short in Rockaway before hitting some snags. Ended the day with some nice Sea Bass and Ling. Tough day of fishing to swallow after the prior 2 weeks. Nonetheless, the guys fished hard all day and went home with some meat.

[Point Pleasant,NJ] Hosted the Rob Shinbrot Family Charter for a Striper Liveline trip on Monday May 31. By days end the charter bounced back from a 1 for 7 start to a strong 4 for 10 finish on Stripers with the largest weighing in at 36#.

[Point Pleasant,NJ] With some northern commitments for the upcoming weeks, I moved the boat back from Pt Pleasant to our home at Sandy Hook Bay Marina. Headed back to where we left them biting earlier in the day. With 1 rod in hand and 2 dead sticks, I went 6 for 10 with fish up to 40#. All fish released to fight another day.

Friday Night 12/4 - Striped Bass Eeling Report, slow but some quality fish (12/05/2009)
[Sandy Hook,NJ] Last night may have been the NetKeeper's last night eeling trip of the season. Slow night (3 fish in total) but we finished with some quality Stripers, 38", 36" and released a short. Great night out on the water before blow.

[Sandy Hook,NJ] Not sure if it was the Nice Weather, Moon, the blow, or the bait and just fish moved out that ended our Striper roll. Maybe I jinxed us by asking them to leave the bananas home this week. By days end the Charter managed to box 2 Blues, 12 keeper Blackfish to 6lbs and released over two dozen toy tog. A few short bass were released and the Spiny Dogfish were a pain.

[Sandy Hook,NJ] Held a Thanksgiving Day Open Boat Fishing Trip from 6am to 12:30pm. The guys got their six man limit within 30 minutes of finding the birds. Togging was slow with only 5 keepers being landed but 3 quality fish went from 5lbs to 10lbs. Great fall striper fishing underway
