Cold start hot finish Friday on the Beach. Robert Perrilloux brought his sons Sam, John, and Mathew along with family from out of town Taylor and Tyler Brown down to the Beach for an after Thanksgiving fishing trip. I told Robert the night before to dress for the cold and they where well prepared. As we pulled away from Campo's after getting bait the wind was blowing very hard, the tide falling hard, and it was cold and cloudy. We headed to the Biloxi marsh where our first 3 stops produced 1 Trout and 1 Channel Mullet. Things were not looking good. At our next stop the guys started to get a little action. Fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork a few Trout were starting to come to the boat. I let the boat drift a little and stuck the Cajun anchor when 3 corks went down together. Here the guys caught some Trout and after a little while fishing at this spot the Trout went nuts and were flying in the boat fast. I could hardly keep up with them. It was non stop until our limits were full. The guys had a great time and did a super job of fishing today with the tough conditions. Total for the day was 175 Trout.
