Day two for Tom, Patrick, and Lee. With a good day yesterday we were looking forward to another one with good weather. Weather great, tide not. At our first stop in the Sound I handed Pat a rod and before I could hand out poles to Tom and Lee he is pulling in a nice Trout. From there is was bam bam bam and ended at 8. We made many moves picking up a couple here and a couple there, but all were quality Trout. We ended up with 24 Trout, 2 Reds, and another fun day with a great group of guys.
Capt. Frank had Mr. Hamid and his sons John and Jason today. With John's wife expecting their baby any day they fished close to the house and not very long. Fishing with plastics under a cork the guys put 20 quality Trout from 14"-20" in the boat along with several attacks by Bull Reds that never made it to the net. A fun time was had by all.
The tide or lack there of made the fishing a little slow, but the beautiful weather made for a great day on the water. Looks like some more good weather and better tides for the next several days. The fishing should really get hot and we have some openings.
