Another rod got bent on a Nikao Fishing Adventures outing and this time it was a fine 8.0Kg speciman who really got the reel screaming. We were doing a slow troll on the outer edges of the reef when we noticed a lot of good showings on the sonar and stopped the boat to try some drop shot and we left the mackerel drifting on the rod as a trap stick. It was not very long and the reel was screaming and Chris got the turn to bring this fine Dorado to the boat. We also got some nice Rockod on the drop shot and when we put out the next drift bait on the trap stick we pulled in the biggest puffer fish I have ever seen which was estimated at around 3.0Kg.
