9-12-07 - Bob, Charlie, gene, and David Were ready to go this morning, the forecast looked iffy but I talked to Bob last night and we agreed to just go down this morning and see what happens. Bob was itching to catch some fish; he had knee surgery and was out of the game for a while. Well Good fortune was upon us no thunderstorms or lighting and light winds. Fired up the Optimax and headed straight for the sound. First stop zero not even a bite. Moved further out second stop got into some trout but the catfish and ladyfish took over. Hopped over to another rig and got few trout on the drift so we hooked on the rig to see what would happen. Well we got the trout started up and then it was on corks 3 ft with live shrimp and Old bayside shrimp. The trout were eating up and before long; the box was just about full along with a big red at the end to top things off. AWESOME DAY 3 STOP SHOP
