Fall has gotten a late start with water temperatures still being rather warm but all the summer fish are still here. Soon we can expect pompano, bluefish, mackerel, flounder on the deeper troughs followed by sheepshead and black drum. Use lures or bait that is available where you are fishing. Later in the season shrimp bait becomes the staple-don't forget to bring.

In the deep backcountry it is always nice to toss a plug for snook or that laid-up tarpon. If you are looking to get out give us a call. Remember that we are also using our mud boat to guide for waterfowl. If you are interested in a good duck hunt, call us to arrange.
