Bob, Gene, Randy, and Charlie were waiting at my dock for me and rearing to go. We loaded up and waited for daylight. Cool temps and a high tide had me thinking stay in the mash. Played a hunch near Lake Amadee and hit the trout right off. Not big but typical fall trout 13 to 17 inches. The fish were taking live shrimp and plastic under corks. Lots of action. The guys were eating it up. Nice for a change not making the long run outside. It looks as if the fish are moving in the marshes. The trout slowed so we headed for some reds and got few with out much trounble along with rat reds in the mix, good to see the small reds in the marsh.
