Fast and fun Friday on the Beach. My guests for the day were Kelly Smith and David Stevens. The air was cold and the sky clear as we left Campo's after getting some of their famous live shrimp. We headed to the Biloxi Marsh and made one stop and did not move till 8:30 when Trout number 75 hit the ice. Campo's shrimp 3' under a cork did the trick. After that we hunted for some Reds. Made a bunch of stops and could not get the Reds to come out a play. The guys ended up catching 1 keeper and a few under sized Reds along with plenty more Trout that were released. We did get in one spot that was loaded with Sheepshead (my favorite) and put 25 in the box. The guys had a great time and headed home with lots of fillets and big smiles. Total catch for the day was 75 Trout, 25 Sheepshead, 2 Flounder, 1 Red, and 1 Drum.
