Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Don Davis and Jeff Dunlap of Phoenix Civil Contractors, along with there buddy E.T. (the extra terrific). We fished the Black Bay side making several stops.
Got into a good bite off the bat that was short lived, then several stops later hit PAYDIRT!!! It was one of the fastest bites I've seen this year. The trout were slamming the Hybrid Flurries. I literally couldn't keep up and just told the crew to throw the fish on the floor and I would make my rounds to get them.
Within what seemed like the blink of an eye, the crew boxed there limit of 75 speckled trout and a half doz whites. By 10am we were back at the Breton Sound Marina. All fish were caught under corks with live shrimp and Full Throttle Hybrid Flurries.
We had the chance today to put the new line to the test today and found it is some serious stuff. If your a braid fanatic be sure to check out FINS Premium Super Lines at Puglia's Sporting Goods. I also found that Puglia's is carrying stainless steel hardware for Igloo ice chests.....talk about save you some headaches from replacing plastic parts!
