Father and son fun Monday at the Beach. I had the pleasure of fishing with Brian and his son Jack from Colorado. They were in town visiting with family and wanted to get a little fishing in while down. We made our first stop looking for some Trout on the edge of the Sound. After a good long drift of the area and only two missed bites we moved on out deep into the Sound and made one stop at a small rig. The guys loaded the box with big Sheepshead, one after the other. With sore arms they had enough, so we headed back to the marsh and made a stop. The guys picked up 6 nice Reds and said they were done. They had a great time and want to come back again.
All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay were caught with Campo's dead bait on Capt. Rory's United Charters custom rods provided by CUI Products with Shimano reels, spooled with Power Pro line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Just Grab it Glove.
Spring action is here. The big Reds and Heads are eating up at the outer rigs and this is a great time to load the boat with big hard fighting fish. The Trout action is ready to break open any day now. The books are filling up fast, don't miss out on the fun. Call now to book your trip of a lifetime. Overnight accommodations on the bayou are available.
