One of the best bites has to be the snook bite.  Snook are very active with warm, steady temperartes and are being very responsive to lure fished along beaches and mangroves.  Our favorite lure has been a single hook jig with a plastic tail attached for weedless presentation and good bottom bouncing.  They really feel the lure hit the water, bounce, bounce, and boom-a hook-up.   Now, it is pretty warm which means oxygen levels are depleted so fight the fish hard and release them quickly.  Also there are too many bull sharks around so double the quickness and save the snook.  Flamingo has seen a great snook bite.  It has been the mecca of sportfishing down here for some time.  Biscayne Bay has also had great action on  the flats and cuts.  This is my favorite time to jump in and poke around with my hawaiian sling.  Boating season has really picked up and everyone really seems to be getting out on the water for fishing, fun, diving, and just a good time.  Keep your boat in tune.  Check and change your spark plugs frequently as this will give your engines a quick start and save fuel.  Pay particular attention to thru-hull fittings.  Open and close seacock handles, give them some excersize.  If the handles are hard to turn and corrosion is visible-change them.  And always keep an extra battery and some cables onboard plus a first aid kit.  Just a few essentials to keep you safe on the water.I have been involved in promoting and participating in a new boating TV program called "ANCLA TV".  This is a show that entertains, educates, and interacts with viewers that love the Florida outdoors.  Follow the latest on ANCLA by logging on to their page on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.  Or you can find me on facebook and see my video trailer for my fishing segment coming real soon.  The first two shows will air on channel 8, which can be seen from the Palm Beaches to Key West.
